The Zink Family

An updated Zink Family Tree has been published.  The family tree starting with Anton Zink can be viewed here, or you can search the family tree here.

If you have updates to the Zink Family tree, please submit them using the contact form.  Updates are collected throughout the year, but only published to the site every quarter.  The next Zink Family tree update is scheduled to be published in May.

The 2012 Zink Family Open which will be held this year on June 24th at Rocky Lakes Golf Course.  Registration is now open and will close on June 10th.  Click here to register.

2011 marks the 10th anniversary of zinkfamily.com.  Over the past 10 years the Zink Family has had a place to come and view the family tree, photos, and learn about Zink family history.  This site started as my college project hosted on a own server in my tiny college apartment.  We are now hosted on go daddy but the past 10 years zinkfamily.com has had 3 different hosting providers, 8 site redesigns, and now family tree application.  I hope everyone enjoys the new site and hopefully with the new changes family information will … Continue Reading

We are back online with our new hosting provider go daddy.  Hopefully moving to a bigger provider will speed up page load times and increase site reliability.

Family members braced the cold, snow, and ice for good food, singing, and even a visit from Santa last Tuesday night as the hall hosted the family Christmas Party.  Pictures from the hall Christmas party have been posted in the Family Photos section of the website.

It’s cold and snowy outside which means that Christmas is fast approaching.  Come join us Tuesday night December 7, 2010 at 6:30 for our family Christmas pot-luck at the hall.  There will be a special visit from Santa following dinner.

As you can see we have updated our website with a fresh look and new content.  We have moved to WordPress, which is a blog and content management tool.  Soon family members will be able to request credentials to add blog posts to the front page.

As our building ages, we need to be attentive to its needs. We have replaced the air conditioner and have done some concrete work. We are in the midst of painting the building exterior. What next?
